The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in the state of California aged 55.

The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The renowned industry figure lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a highway in LA on Sunday morning, as reported by.
