Ukraine's drones have hit Russia's oil facility in the city of Ufa, positioned around 1,400 kilometres from the Ukrainian border, triggering blasts and a blaze, as reported by a source in Ukraine's Security Service.

Ukrainian President Appeals to Trump to Facilitate Peace in the Conflict

In Russia's border region of the Belgorod region, a truck driver was lost his life by a drone assault, per municipal sources.
Electricity Recovery Operations in the Capital
Work proceeded on Saturday to restore power in Kyiv, after strikes by Moscow.
Power had been restored to more than 800,000 inhabitants by Saturday and the major power firm announced the main efforts to repair the grid was finished though some outages persisted.
Anti-Aircraft Efforts and UAV Downings
The Ukrainian anti-aircraft systems downed or disrupted 54 out of 78 Russian drones launched towards the country in the dark hours, the air force reported on Saturday.
The Russian defence ministry said it eliminated 42 UAVs from Ukraine over the country's airspace.
Cuban Government Rejects Allegations of Sending Forces to Ukraine
The Cuban government on Saturday refuted American allegations it has sent troops to participate in the hostilities, while declaring Cuban authorities "lack accurate details about individuals" participating "voluntarily" or "in the military forces of the conflicting parties".
The foreign ministry in the capital announced 26 Cuban citizens had been given prison terms to jail sentences varying between five up to fourteen years for mercenary involvement since last September when reports spread of individuals being sent to the front in the conflict.

The surrender initiative, a Ukrainian government project that urges enemy combatants to give up, stated in May: "We reliably know the personal data of one thousand and twenty-eight Cubans who enlisted with the Moscow's troops in recently."
The Cuban authorities stated of Cubans who might be engaged: "There is no doubt that not a single one possesses the backing, allegiance, or approval of the Cuban authorities for their activities."
Relatives of Cuban nationals who departed to Russia in the year informed news outlets at the time that their loved ones had been tricked into joining through advertisements on online platforms.
