But the latest Battlefield is hoping to alter that.

It's the latest entry in a established combat FPS line frequently described as a grittier alternative to Call of Duty.

"Collaborating with diverse cultures, different backgrounds, it's a truly engaging atmosphere to be part of daily," he shares.

"This whole approach has been a fresh take but also really thrilling because we are collaborating with people from around the globe."

As for the anticipation on the developers, the director states: "We experience pressure but at the same time it's thrilling.

"This is a big undertaking. It's likely the most significant that the majority of the team have previously worked on."

New Developer Adds Innovative Perspective

That's definitely true of at least one staff, lighting artist Vlad.

The 21-year-old creates the atmospheric effects that influence the mood, tone, and narrative of the solo experience.

Vlad undertook an training period at the studio preceding obtaining a role at the company, and currently works on a part-time basis while concluding his visual effects qualification at Bournemouth University.
