Devoted supporters of the actress are demanding that a person who breached a barrier and grabbed the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be detained or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared footage depicts the individual from Australia pushing past photographers and charging at Grande while the actors walked down a promenade accompanied by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the event by guards.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "released after being taken in", though official papers showed that he was due to be present on the next day. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Record of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram account contains videos of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney show in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the city last year.

"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," wrote an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user questioned.

Followers Voice Worry Over the Star's Past Trauma

Several fans criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed suffering from PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said one more comment on Instagram.

Some supporters also criticised guards at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals called for digital services to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Event Details

In clips shared widely, Grande appeared shocked when she was approached by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of fans had congregated in a mass of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international debut in a Singapore mall, including a number who had waited for as long as eight hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a two-part adaptation of the acclaimed stage show Wicked, which focuses on the unexpected friendship between two contrasting sorceresses.

The production itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was decked out in a rosé glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the Elphaba, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the top-earning motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and scored 10 Oscar nominations, winning a pair for outstanding attire and set decoration.
